Light Fund Charity Golf Event

About

The Light Fund was created back in 2004 sparked an idea by Jakki Brown and Ian Hyder (co-owners of Max Publishing) to create an industrywide charity body that would raise monies to fund worthwhile charity projects to help children, women and men.

Together with a group of like-minded people from the UK licensing industry, The Light Fund committee was formed and the fundraising commenced!

The Light Fund name is an acronym for:

Licensing Industry Giving Help Together

Licensing is a vibrant dynamic industry employing many fun and innovative people. Through The Light Fund this collective, creative energy is ploughed back into raising money for good causes.

Since 2004 The Light Fund has raised over £500,000 for various charities and is now an official registered charity.

The Light Fund is run collectively by a group of individuals employed in the licensing industry. They give their time to The Light Fund for nothing, meaning that the monies raised can go straight to the good charity causes.

ACE Golf Events Professionals will be on hand to ensure that the day is once again a resounding success.

The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club is one of the finest facilities of its kind in the country. It boasts an impressive array of golf facilities, capable of meeting everyone’s needs. Two superb 18 Hole Golf Courses are situated in the middle of 465 flowing acres of picturesque Warwickshire countryside, where one is able to just stand and marvel at the majesty of it all.

What will astonish the first time visitor is the remarkable variety of golf. Designer, American Karl Litten, chose a distinctive and different character to include: inland links, woodland, Americana and parkland. Its all here at the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club, in one immensely attractive sweep of golfing country. The courses offer the perfect challenge for golfers of all abilities, having hosted many professional tournaments including a European Seniors Tour and the Midland PGA Final.

Whilst the focal point of The Warwickshire is the excellence of the Championship Golf Courses, the golfing experience is further enhanced by the welcoming and friendly ambience of the clubhouse and staff.
