About Us

ACE Golf Events is the brainchild of two PGA Qualified Professionals who have been involved in high-profile golf events throughout their careers.  Mark Dulson and Ian Smith have over 30 years experience between them in the golf industry and after many years of catering for the same style golf events, established ACE Golf Events to provide fresh, innovative and fun events to it’s clients.

ACE Golf Events are an avant-garde and innovative team, dedicated to working in close partnership with our clients delivering a bespoke, tailor-made service, managing all or part of your day.  Whether it’s a traditional or a more modern and contemporary golf experience you are planning, our events team can help.

Biography – Mark Dulson Having played golf for over 25 years, playing off a handicap of 2 at the age of 14, Mark has gained high level club and county competition experience.  Although enjoying competing at both amateur and professional level, Mark decided on a future as a teaching golf professional 14 years ago.  During each of his 3 years of PGA Training, he achieved Top 5 Trainee of The Year Awards, culminating in an overall Distinction Grade. Along with Ian Smith, Mark set up ACE Golf Management Limited in 2009 with a view to making golf more accessible and exciting to all. Since 2009 ACE Golf Management Limited has acquired three Golf Academies and has managed many high profile golf events.  Mark has recently been awarded PGA Advanced Professional status for his success within the industry.

Biography – Ian Smith Initially working as a trainee golf professional at The Swaffham Golf Club in Norwich, Ian qualified as a PGA Professional in 2003.  Soon after qualifying, Ian was headhunted by Mark to work alongside him at The Warwickshire Golf Club, to develop and progress the tuition department.  Ian has continued, to compete on the professional golf circuit playing on The Jamega Tour and representing The Warwickshire and Midlands PGA Regions.  Working as a Senior Golf Professional, Ian has developed a broad basis of experience in the industry. Ian’s input into the development of ACE Golf Events has been invaluable due to his experience of managing golf days for clients ranging from IBM to Sainsbury's.
